Allambie Park is a small boutique stud situated on 20 acres near the beautiful Vineyards in the lower Hunter Valley NSW.
Allambie Park started breeding horses roughly 25 years ago. However, the breed of choice was the Warmblood specifically tailored for the Dressage arena and Eventing disciplines. After much success with the gentle giants of the horse world, the focus of the breeding program shifted to the elegant riding pony / Thoroughbred breed.
Our main focus at Allambie Park is to breed Riding Pony / Thoroughbred galloway show horses, with superior temperaments, stunning looks and movement to burn. We have found this possible by combining the breath taking looks of the Riding Pony with the elegance, height and refinement of the Thoroughbred produces the desired type of show horse.
Although we are a relatively small stud, our aim is to breed quality, not quantity; thus breeding two - three foals each season. We have decided to not keep a resident stallion, as we find the best results come from using external sires that compliment our few selected mares.
