Rathowen South Wind
(Courtland Boy Blue(imp) x Kirreway Skye)
Holly is a Royal Show Champion both in hand and under saddle, State Riding Pony of the Year for 3 consecutive years (both led and ridden), SHC R/U Newcomer OTY, multi SHC and EFA HOTY winner and multi Agricultural Show Supreme Winner.
Holly was purchased from Rathowen Stud and the Gregory Family with the intent of being a competition galloway and future broodmare. She possessed everything that we were looking for in our future saddle horse and broodmare, but what truly captured our hearts was her magnificent face and breath taking movement.
She was initially shown in hand, qualifying easily for Sydney Royal Easter Show in both 2005 and 2006. We were very fortunate with the success that Holly achieved, winning:
2005 Sydney Royal Easter Show
Champion Led Part Welsh Mare or Filly

Holly was then broken in and performed by Terry Lamey of Mendorran in her Newcomer Season. Holly was again adorned with broad sashes gaining the following accolades
Holly has a PPT to Rosedale Lords for a December 2012 foal.
